Over the next two years, I will be looking at top level talented data engineers.

Update: the situation is resolved. If I need further assistance, I’ll post on X about this need.

Over the next two years, I will be looking for top level talented data engineers. as I am working with several clients across the globe. At this time, none of these opportunities will be US based. I will be posting more details as these opportunities become clearer (the expectation is that we’ll start looking to fill roles beginning 2025 and beyond).

Known Details — More To Come

  • All of these opportunities are remote, but are results-based. Contrived example: if you’re in charge of creating a report from beginning to end, you get paid when you complete the project. If it takes you 2 hours because you’re awesome, then you get paid the full amount for 2 hours.
  • All of these opportunities are results-based. You get paid when you complete work and project deadlines.
  • Due to legal complexity at this time, these opportunities are not open to US citizens.
  • X followers are the first in line, my X profile (@sqlinsix) is exclusively about data and security, so no one is following for reasons outside these topics.

Minimum Requirements

  • You must be able to complete full data engineering projects end-to-end and demonstrate an understanding of automation and foundations.
  • Hybrid experience (cloud/on-premise) will be preferred.

Reminder

None of these positions are set in stone at this time. We are still working on the details. I will start posting more information to this post as I learn it and alert followers on X.

Note: all images in the post are either created through actual code runs or from Pixabay. The written content of this post is copyright; all rights reserved. This post is not “final” as I am in the works with clients on a need for data engineers. If I make an update to this post about specific positions, I will be posting to X (see mentioned profile in post).

I speak and write about research and data. Given my increased speaking frequency, I write three articles per year here.
